How to use this list
Type what you want to do — “cursor”, “fold”, “layout” — or filter by section. Keys joined by + are pressed together; keys separated by a comma are pressed one after the other (press Ctrl+K, release, then the next keys). Download the PDF cheat sheet to keep beside your keyboard.
Why Sublime Text users love multiple selections
- Ctrl+D selects the word under the cursor; each press adds the next match. Ctrl+K, Ctrl+D skips a match you don't want, and Ctrl+U steps back.
- Ctrl+Shift+L turns a multi-line selection into one cursor per line — perfect for editing lists, CSV rows or SQL values.

How do I edit multiple lines at once in Sublime Text?

How do I open a file quickly?
Press Ctrl+P (Goto Anything) and type part of the file name. Add @ to jump to a symbol, : to go to a line number, or # to search for a word in that file.
How do I split the screen in Sublime Text?
Alt+Shift+2 gives two columns and Alt+Shift+8 gives two rows. Move the current file to the other group with Ctrl+Shift+2, and switch focus with Ctrl+1 or Ctrl+2.
How do I sort lines?
Select the lines and press F9. Ctrl+F9 sorts case-sensitively. Use the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P) for Reverse, Unique and Shuffle.
